The ROPA method is a High Complexity Assisted Reproduction Treatment, aimed for women couples, so that both of them can participate in the pregnancy of their child. ROPA means Reception of Oocytes from the Couple.
The ROPA method is a variant of the In Vitro Fertilization treatment. One of the women in the couple performs ovarian stimulation and her eggs are fertilized with a donated semen sample. The embryo or embryos obtained are transferred to the uterus of the other woman of the couple. In this way, one of them provides the eggs, while her partner will carry out the pregnancy.
